Rant: Ok, not really a rant right now, but can someone please explain to me how PETA became such an important organization? As I'm sure you all know, I've spent the majority of my life eating little to no meat, but these people are so simplistic in their reasoning/tactics that sometimes they make me want to eat a cow.

This is why I hardly ever watch television.  The ads have become outright disturbing.  Sprint or someone just had an ad on about using gps on phones to keep track of where your friends are.  I love you all, but I will never want my cell phone to always tell me exactly where you are.  That's just creepy.

I just have to say that I have trouble sitting still for all of this journal entry stuff. However, at the moment, it is an excellent distraction from working too late at night. Granted I'm at the coffee shop and not my office, but it still counts as work. Hmm, now I'm just thinking about the grants that have to get done for work. I hate to admit it, but I kind of miss having a job where I hardly had to do anything at all.

I've also been having weirder-than-usual stress dreams. This morning, I dreamt that some mysterious agency was coming to repossess all of the items in the house, not because I owed them money, but because I was harboring Shania Twain and she owed them money. I have no idea what to make of that.

I have learned enough in my life and no more will fit in my head.

Well, a certain someone finally got me to join this world, which I suspect will soon take up every moment of my waking day that is not devoted to my job (may I soon learn what I'm supposed to be doing there).

In the meantime, however, I hope anyone who reads this and has not forgotten that I exist will not criticize me too much for 1) taking too long to join; and 2) being here at all.

I'm afraid I must retire before gunn mocks me too much more.
